Introduction
The N Test Tool is used to pressure test the tubing above the Landing Nipple
The N-type pressure testing tool is mainly used for pressure testing of production tubing strings. It is typically employed for pressure testing the integrity of oil pipes during or after well completion operations. The same tool can be used for both dropping and retrieving, remaining in a balanced state during the retrieval process. The usage is simpler and safer. The usage is simpler and safer.
The N-type pressure testing tool is composed of a fishing neck, a limiting sleeve, a locking nut, a sealing assembly, a sealing body, a core shaft, a sealing ring, a sealing sleeve, etc.
The fishing neck is convenient for the tool's placement and retrieval. Place the core shaft inside the limiting sleeve, and connect one end of the core shaft to the fishing neck. Install the sealing assembly at the sealing part of the sealing body. First, tighten the locking nut on the sealing body, then place the sealing ring and the sealing sleeve on the upper end of the sealing body. Tighten the previously connected limiting sleeve, etc. on the sealing body, and then reverse-tighten the locking nut to lock the limiting sleeve, preventing it from falling off during operation.
The outer diameter of the locking nut is larger than the diameter of the sealing surface, and it can be fixed on the upper part of the sealing area of the connection short section.
Usage instructions
1. Connect the SB/SSJ fishing tool below the tool string;
2. Lower the N-type pressure testing tool down to the predetermined position via SB/SSJ, cut the pin of SB/SSJ, then lift the tool string and start the pressure test.
3. After the operation is completed, insert the tool string and remove the N-type pressure testing tool.
Notes
1. Before going down the well, check if the sealing assembly is damaged;
2. When not in use for a while, replace the sealing assembly and use tools to protect it to prevent it from being damaged.
